Global Telecommunications Industry Director

Markus Persson has spent the last 30 years in Telecommunication with everything from operational aspects to strategic direction. Notably, Markus was General Manager for 3G network operations when Ericsson together with Vodafone launched its first-ever 3G network in Japan, establishing all new operational procedures to manage it. Markus has also been instrumental in Ericsson OSS/BSS strategic direction over the last 10 years being responsible for Ericsson’s monetization solutions. Markus has a long history in guiding and influencing Telecom operators from all parts of the world. Today Markus is the industry director for Telecom at IFS, focusing on further strengthening IFS leadership in field service and asset management within the Telecom industry.
