Bas Beemsterboer

EAM Evangelist at IFS

Bas started his career in Asset Management in 1993, working in the Maintenance and Engineering department of a Unilever plant in the Netherlands. His first responsibility was the implementation, rollout and administration of the CMMS system. After three years Bas transitioned to the computer software industry and became an implementation consultant and project manager for Datastream, a global CMMS player at the time. In 2006, he shifted focus from implementing solutions to helping customers acquire EAM in a Sales Consulting leadership role at Infor, until he became a Product and Industry Market Strategist in 2019. In 2022 Bas joined IFS as a Global EAM Evangelist, where he is currently responsible for go-to-market strategy of the Enterprise Asset Management solutions in the IFS portfolio. Bas is passionate about discussing the impact of Asset Management on the organization’s strategic business objectives and how the IFS solutions can contribute to establishing resilient asset management. Bas is married, has two daughters and he loves playing electric guitar in a classic rock band
